Kick-off the spring with some great spring time eatin' and fun in Manteca! April 14th and 15th several champion BBQ rib cooker teams from all over the country will descend on the 16th annual Manteca Convention and Visitors Bureau Crossroads Street Faire to sell full BBQ meals for your enjoyment as part of a serious cooking competition among professional rib masters for the central valley BBQ championship.

A panel of local judges will taste the handiwork of the rib chefs and award trophies and prizes for best overall rib, best sauce and other categories.

Admission to the Central Valley BBQ Funfest is free, with full BBQ lunches or dinners starting at $6. After you enjoy your meal, be sure to visit the U. S. Army booth and submit your vote for the rib cooker who should win the People's Choice award!
